With both of our TF2 leagues in playoffs, we should give everyone our approximate start dates for the next season for each division.
Approximate start dates: TF2 Highlander 9v9 Season 6 - Mid January start with one preseason match week, and new teams accepted from now until week 2.
TF2 6vs6 Season 8 - Mid January start date, with new teams accepted starting this week and ending at week 4.
On our forums you will find broad discussions about league format choices. One topic is a must read, about map choices for the upcoming Highlander season. Team leaders can cast a team vote for maps they want to play in Season 6.

TF2 Highlander Fall 2011 Season 5

Our Season 5 of TF2 Highlander begins on Sept. 14 and runs to Playoff Final Matches on Dec 12, 2011. If you haven't played highlander before, each team has 9 players and there can be only ONE of each class! It is the ultimate way to play Team Fortress 2!
We have a solid list of competitive maps, standard CP, PL, Koth, CTF and CP-AD are all represented. Some other features are: - Teams play by default on each Monday - Scheduling & Opponent selection is done team rank order, so that you are mostly scheduled with a team of a similar W/L rank. - Most weapons & items in the game are allowed, only a few exceptions. - We play for fun, there are no fees
Our next season of 6v6 fun is setup to run from September 21 to Dec 14, 2011. Your team can do well in our fun 6vs6 League. Our Season 7 will include 9 Regular Season Matches and 3 Elimination Playoff Matches. Teams will be scheduled each week based on rank after week 2.

Weapons: - No crits, no damage spread, locked shot pattern. - No Full Class Set Bonuses from Item Sets - No Unsusual Hats and no Strange Weapons/Items - other specific class weapon restrictions tbd.
