The schedule for grand finals has been posted! We encourage all those participating in grand finals to communicate with the other team as soon as possible to determine a match time that works for both teams. As with all other weeks within the season, if an agreement cannot be made then the default match time for your region must be honored.
For this weeks games all matches will be a BEST OF FIVE and the must be on the ticket! If all games are not on the ticket then they do not count and must be replayed. The highest seed team gets home field advantage for the week. This means that games 1, 3, and 5 the home team will choose whether they would prefer radiant/dire. The visiting team will be able to choose this option during games 2 and 4.
Under absolutely no circumstance may a standin be used during any of these games. Rosters were locked several weeks ago so no new players may be added to an existing roster at this time. If a player is not currently rostered then they do not play in the match. If a team is discovered to having used an unrostered player during a matchup then the game will be overturned in their opponents favor. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
Select grand final matchups are casted and may be found on one of our twitch channels or in game under the amateur tab. We encourage all players and fans to join one of these outlets and watch the final matchups for the season!
In addition to the best of five grand finals matchup there will also be a Bronze Match. These games are to be a best of three series to determine the team that will come in third place for Season Two.
One final note for the week:
New Team signups are OPEN. If you have a team ready you can now sign up for Season 3 of the UGC DOTA 2 League.
This season will begin on January 18th.
Best of luck to all participating teams and a massive thank you to all teams and players that helped in making Season two a great success.
