Sorry for the last minute schedules as your admin is AWOL. .AI will serve a forced ByE awaiting the winner of the TS. FF and -GoD| are both on a 2W and will face off in a TS. UGC would like to welcome |30+| and OTL- |30+| is on a requested ByE while the roster is being created. 2Chemicalv2 is the map of the week and standard rules apply. This stems from a dispute filed between snafu and pnut where pnut broke yard D rules. And as such I am issuing a very clear and stern warning to all teams that rules are in place for a reason, mainly our yard D rules. It’s becoming more and more of a repeating issue that teams are coming to us reporting teams that aren’t following our very simple guidelines. I know some maps have certain exceptions and thus will be specified before the match day in the news section and I understand it may happen once and awhile in a match. But plain and simple if I hear of anymore teams blatantly breaking this rule I am going to start handing out suspensions. I understand some higher ranked teams (when playing lower ranked ones) like to ignore this rule completely. Even if you think you are ‘better’ at an online video game that doesn’t give you the right to ignore rules. We should enjoy what’s left of TFC and that doesn’t mean acting like total ass hats, instead follow the rules so that everyone in the match has a good time. If anyone breaks this rule please report it to me in IRC with a HLTV demo and the player’s name/steamid. Thanks and have fun tonight. -woOdY

Welcome to 2008 everyone, I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays but now it’s time to get down to brass tax and get business going again. AI requested a BYE, so in turn pnut gets a BYE as well. pnut is still the team of record to get the next title shot which will happen next week. The winner of this week’s title shot match will play the winner of next week’s match between AI and pnut regardless of the outcome of their own match. Much luck to everyone this week. -woOdY

Hey everyone, I would just like to take the time and introduce myself and let everyone know how to contact me if anything is needed. I’ll be idling in both the #ugc-tfc channel as well as #ugc-support. Please feel free to PM me at anytime. I will be contacting each clan leader(s) individually in IRC to bring up a few things; you will find I won’t use the forums very much as they honestly don’t bring any cohesiveness to the clans within the league anymore, plus I prefer to speak face to face with clans. First and foremost dealing with clan activity, I know with a dwindling community it’s hard to get a decent match against a team that’s somewhat active. Out of respect and fairness to active clans this issue has to be dealt with first. Secondly, I will also pose questions and a few ideas to bring in some more clans, this may involve changing the day and time of matches or make a system that’s more lenient to allow matches to be played in a specified time frame that can stretch a couple days. With all honesty I am going to push hard to get this done, going up against new games is a factor that will undoubtedly dwindle down clans even more. My goal is to have this league in a position where we can attract some clans and liven up TFC some more. As I said I will no longer use the forums for things such as map votes, again I will PM leaders and ask for a list of minimum 4 maps, this will be up to the leaders to respond and be counted. Lastly for now, rules, please voice any opinion you have towards a specific rule or set of rules, I’m open to discussion on it, so if you feel like something could be changed to make game play better by all means speak up. Now onto next week’s matches, as previously stated by MrSparkle all clans have been combined into steel, this week both title holders will face off.
