The conclusion of Season 2 means the opening of Season 3! All of us here at UGC are especially excited for this season to open up because we have a ton of goodies in store. First things first - the prizepot. Last season UGC introduced a $2,000 base prizepot to all teams competing in the invite divisions. This season we will be issuing a prizepot with the same monetary value. 

A second topic that we are very proud to announce is the introduction of our very own MMR bot! That's right, we no longer use Steamtracks to collect our data. This bot was created by our very own Petefbsd and is revolutionary for MMR collection. All teams must go through our MMR process in order to compete in the league. This will only take a few moments of your time and may be found under the "team membership" tab in your player profile. An official e-mail will be sent out to all teams when this process needs to be completed so be sure to look out for it!

We are happy to announce the introduction of two new team members this season! The first being W200Me. He is well known for creating videos over at DotaCinema and now he will be creating "Top Plays" compilations for UGC as well. Anyone will be able to submit replays for these compilations. To view some of W200Me's work head on over to his YouTube channel. In addition to W200Me we will also be bringing on Level99 to compose music for the top play compilations. More information on Level99 may be found on his YouTube channel. 

UGC also has two items in the Steam Community Workshop currently! The first is our ward The Winged Watcher and the second is an adorable bat courier called Serenity. Be sure to check them out. If you like them, favorite them, rate them, share them. Let's see them in game! 

We have high expectations of being listed under the "Professional" tab this coming season and look forward to working with many new teams and players. Please keep in mind that UGC is a  FREE TO PLAY  league that caters to ALL skill types and ALL regions. It doesn't matter how good (or bad) you are at the game! We have a spot for you. Also, we are NOT a region based league. We cater to teams on an international level. 

That being said, since we are an international league we are ALWAYS looking for more admin/staff/casters! If you think you have what it takes to join our team do not hesitate to apply. We need people for all sorts of jobs and from all over the world. So if you are looking to get involved in the e-sports world and have something to offer the league we want to hear from you!

***UGC is holding a special raffle for anyone signed into our DOTA 2 League. This raffle will run from Preseason to the end of the Regular Season. We will be raffling off 20 arcana sets. The winner will receive the set of their choice!***
