bHd ¤ Leoholbel: I started talking to JD last Wednesday, he asked to play on Saturday then on Sunday, but our team could not. So we would play the match, as we always do, on default time. They told us they wouldn't have enough players at default time. Before that, I asked them to test 3 servers to select the best ping so I could reserve the best sv for Monday night, but they never answered me if their ping was good or bad on any sv. So Monday came, I got home right on time, (7:30 ET), and to my surprise they were asking for game. I didn't have a sv up, but tried my best to get one ASAP, only managed to succeed 20:15 ET though. There would still be a ping advantage for us but we (bhd) agreed to play half in a server we had advantage and half in a sv they had advantage, if we could not find a neutral sv. Irion didn't answer on time, (steam chat) so we didn't have a neutral sv but again, we agreed to play half and half. They said they had a sv but refused to provide me the IP. We could've played even the entire match in their sv if they said "15 mins are gone you don't have a sv ready so let's go to our sv." They ignored me all the times that I asked for their IP since last week. So, to sum it up: -We failed to provide a sv within 15 mins of the default time. -They failed to provide a sv within 15 mins of the default time, or simply refused to inform us of the ip. -45 mins later, when we had a sv on, they refused to play on ours or theirs, which IP I still don't have. http://i.imgur.com/06Kdc.png http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=101640474 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=101640458 As you can see, they first said it would be W.O. for us, tricking us into believing they wouldn't play so we didn't reserve the sv, and then refused to provide their ip... we failed to have the sv ready on time but we had it later and their team was still on, and if we hadn't being tricked into believing there would be no game, we would've reserved latinfortress' sv for tonight and probably the match would've happened with no problems whatsoever. http://i.imgur.com/aX1Vq.png Also, despite acknowledging that I should've reserved the sv no matter what they said, and therefore not having done so is indeed a punishable flaw, rule 5.3.1.a states that the away team may host, in which case the home team's failure to provide a sv is by itself no excuse for not playing. Furthermore, they said they had a sv ready but refused to share IP and PW.
