[IMATG] Kippy: Ok, MEGA-WRITEUP TIME. IMATG came into the first game, Barnblitz, feeling a little nervous. After lots of rehearsals and scrims we still came out on the bottom with Chessclub taking 2 pretty decisive rounds over IMATG due to jitters and some indecision on our behalf. Certainly not hour finest hour. Going into Lakeside somewhat demotivated and with Chessclub riding the natural high it wasn't looking too good, but IMATG completely steamrollered and Chessclub felt the rare wrath of the so called "Mini-Gibus" aggression and paid for their cockiness...with a 4-0 defeat. After a pre-scheduled hiatus of a day both teams had some time to prepare and despite some less than useful scrims for Gibus we still felt well readied before the game (after a decent pregame scrim and despite our spy crashed minutes before the match and delaying us by 30 minutes). After that it was the IMATG show, dominating every mid-fight and executing nearly every push perfectly to result in a 5-0 win on Gullywash. Breakfast showed us all how to play Heavy with an amazing KA/D of 8.1 (dying once less than me!) and in general the Gibus d/m just coming out on top. Admittedly Chessclub did have some roster issues and it may not have been the fairest of fights in the deciding round, but given the Gibus performance (from a highly biased perspective), it would still have been a loss for them. Great sets of games guys, thanks for being good sports and best of luck in the future. Signed, Kippy & the IMATG gang, UGC EU Steel Winners, S9 P.s, shoutout to JoeNuFC for being an amazing mentor the entire season, giving us some great strats and motivation. I hate to say it but we couldnt have done it without him.
