This week's Highlander map is cp_granary, one of the game's oldest and most-played 5CP maps. Server operators will want to run the ugc_hl_standard config for this map. Make sure that you execute the config before you change the map in order to get the STV running properly.
Match play & Scoring: The winning team is the first to score 5 TOTAL round wins or the highest score after two halves of up to 30 min each, whichever comes first. The first half will end when one team scores 4 round wins or the timelimit of 30 mins is reached; the second half ends when a team scores the 5th TOTAL round win, or when the second 30 min timelimit is reached. OT: A tied total score results in an Overtime (OT) round, which is played to first round score.
Overtime: A tied score of (1-1, 2-2, 3-3 or 4-4) after two 30-minute match-rounds requires a tiebreaker Overtime (OT) round. The OT round is played as a normal match-round, except the first all-cap score wins the match.
If neither team manages to capture all points during the OT round, a special "sudden death" round is played. During this round, players are not allowed to leave spawn after death, and the team that captures all points or eliminates all enemy players wins.
POV Demo Recording: All players are required to record a POV demo of your match. Used as an anticheat tool, the POV demo is the best evedience you can use to prove you did not cheat in your match. POV demo recording becomes more important as we near the Playoffs. For teams in playoffs, it becomes very likely that your POV demos will be requested. UGC will be conducting team demo checks for some important playoff related matches. Team Leaders must make sure ALL of their players are recording demos. You do not want key players sitting out an important playoff game because they forgot to record a POV.
