UGC 6v6 Week 9 - Snakewater

Fri, Mar 15, 2013 by Snowblindfrog

Wow this season has gone by fast. Can you believe playoffs are just 1 match away? Well this week boys and girls we have another great 5 CP map in store for you. And by great I mean that it's still being played in ESEA. So no one can bitch about that. That's right, we're finishing off the regular season with cp_snakewater! The schedules should be posted early on Saturday so make sure you check back soon. Reminder to all teams; final roster lock date is nearly upon us, so be prepared! Rosters will lock on Tuesday March 19th at 11:59pm EST and will remain locked for the duration of playoffs.

Match deadline: All matches must be played and results submitted by no later than Friday March 22nd at 11:59pm EST.

Match Comms: Attention Team Leaders, you are required to utilize the Match Communications panel every week. This can be found on your matches tab under your leader login. Please coordinate your match times and servers in that section. If your opponent does not post in the Match Comms please try to contact them on Steam before reporting a Forfeit Win against them! All steam chat regarding the coordination of match times and servers should be pasted in the Match Comms! Remember, if there's a dispute and the information we need is not in the match comms or server logs...then it didn't happen!

Standard CP Map scoring: The winning team is the first to score 5 TOTAL round wins or the highest score after two halves of up to 30 min each, whichever comes first. The first half will end when one team scores 4 round wins or the time limit of 30 mins is reached; the second half ends when a team scores the 5th TOTAL round win, or when the second 30 min time limit is reached. OT: A tied total score results in an Overtime (OT) round, which is played to first round score.

Match results: Must be reported by the winning team leader, using his primary team leader login account. Total Score can be no higher than 5, each round score can be no higher than 4.

Example of correct reporting: Round 1: Team A4-1, Round 2: 1-2, Total 5-3
Example of correct reporting with overtime round: Round 1: 4-0, Round 2: 0-4, OT Round 1-0, Total 5-3
Example of incorrect reporting: Round 1: 5-1, Round 2: 0-0, Total 5-1

Whitelist: Make sure you are using the updated whitelist from February 27th, 2013. You can grab a copy on our Downloads page. You'll definitely want to grab this if you want to see all those shiny new highlander medals!

Server commands:
  • Authenticate to your server with rcon_password ( rcon_password insertpasswordhere )
  • Execute ugc_6v_standard.cfg from the command line ( rcon exec ugc_6v_standard.cfg )

Reminder to all teams: You cannot change the map under any circumstances...even if you hate it so much it makes you want to punch a baby!
